Charlotte Furet is a freelance designer with over 10 years experience working at the intersection of design, technology, and social impact. Originally from Paris, Charlotte has lived in New York, London and Tokyo, and brings a global perspective to all of her projects. She is most excited about leveraging the power of design and technology to create more meaningful, delightful, and sustainable human experiences.

Charlotte currently works as a Creative Director for the U Tokyo DLX Design Lab which she helped found in early 2017, and where she oversees both research and commercial projects. She also works as a freelancer for a variety of consultancies and clients, including Dalberg Design, the Future Laboratory, and the Interaction Foundry at Imperial College London. Prior to this, Charlotte taught at the Royal College of Art, where she was responsible for the first year of the Innovation Design Engineering joint masters course with Imperial College.

Past projects range from designing a computer vision interface that interprets subconscious behavior to designing financial products for cashew farmers in Tanzania. Charlotte’s work has been exhibited at the V&A Museum in London, New Museum in New York, Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, Ars Electronica Festival, and Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile.
